Dunajec River Rafting – one of the most beautiful Polish rivers located 30-km north-east from the Tatra Mountains. It is a part of the central chain of limestone rocks knownas the Pieniny Rock Range, which runs for 500 km in a narrow ridge from western Slovakia, trought Moravia, along the southern slopes of the Beskidy hills to Romania. Any visit to this area is a pleasure, but a rafting trip down the Dunajec gorge is a true delight. The rafting course is 15 km long and ends in the resort of Szczawnica. The trip takes between two and three hours depending on the water level.
